Dear foreign investor,
As you know, Ukraine is a young country that got independence after the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991. Presently Ukraine demonstrates high rates of development and the country is interested in attraction of foreign investments into its national economy. During the times of independence many investors have entered the Ukrainian market and successfully operate on it. Thus, as at 31 December 2007 the total amount of investments into the companies and enterprises of Ukraine since 1991 was $21.186 billion or $454.6 per capita. Net increase of direct foreign investments into Ukraine for the entire 2006 amounted to $4.296 billion. The most significant investments were made by non-resident investors representing the United Kingdom – $28.26 million (14.8% from the total amount), the USA – $25.2 million (13.2%), Switzerland – $23.86 million (12.5%), Cyprus – $21.3 million (11.2%), Vietnam – $14.62 million (7.7%).
Our experience obtained during negotiations at international events held for foreign investors allowed us making the conclusion that your interest to doing business in Ukraine is permanently growing. At the same time you pay our attention to the insufficiency of true and reliable information with respect of doing business in Ukraine and that you are not always aware of where, how and from whom this information can be available.
